A magnificent display of paintings by Alan Caine closes at Clare Hall, Cambridge, on 20 November 2025. Don’t miss it . The show stalls you with its intensity and its weaving of parts , as In Summer Walk to Spinlerov Mlyn. He died in 2022, and deserves a wider audience.
Our warmest congratulations to the Clare Hallers who graduated recently on Friday, 25 October.
We wish the graduates all the best with their future endeavours, and look forward to staying in touch!

We will miss George greatly when he retires in September, and want to thank him for everything he has done for Clare Hall over the past five years--from creating a welcoming environment for all College members, to always helping out and trying new things!
Last Sunday, our Head Porter George Cousins joined us on the river for an exciting outing with Clare Hall Boat Club. After seeing George pull amazing splits on the erg during our societies fair last year, we knew that we had to get him in a boat, and the time had finally come! 🚣
