The Clark County School District (CCSD) was recently highlighted by Education Scorecard as one of seven school districts nationwide on the rise in math.
The Scorecard is a collaboration between two of the nation’s leading education research centers: the Center for Education Policy Research (CEPR) at Harvard University and the Educational Opportunity Project (EOP) at Stanford University. It highlighted several areas where CCSD has made improvements in student academic achievement, including professional development.
It found that CCSD’s math growth is outpacing that of peer school districts.
CCSD has seen across-the-board academic improvements on the Nevada Report Card.
