EU Commission's Berlaymont HQs shut off air conditioning on floors 1–7 during this week's European heatwave, while upper floors — including Ursula von der Leyen's 13th-floor office and most commissioner suites — kept theirs running.

Employees on the lower floors called it "feudalism" and a "disgrace."

Poland's Foreign Minister Sikorski publicly criticized President Karol Nawrocki's decision to revoke Ukraine's Order of the White Eagle from Volodymyr Zelensky, calling it disproportionate and personally humiliating:

WATCH: Hezbollah supporters took to the streets of Beirut tonight to protest the US-brokered framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel, calling it a "surrender deal" and demanding Israel withdraw unconditionally from southern Lebanon.

Protesters blocked Salim Salam road and routes to Beirut airport, waving Hezbollah and Iranian flags, lighting fires, and rallying on motorcycles through the southern suburb of Dahieh.

Lebanese security forces deployed, with tear gas used to disperse crowds in some areas.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps says its naval and air forces successfully repelled a US attack on Sirik Island, forcing the attacking forces to retreat in defense of Iran's territorial sovereignty.

The IRGC vowed the assault "will not go unanswered" and warned that any further "foolishness" would be met with a "swift and decisive" response at a time and place of Iran's choosing.
