“Right.”
Logan nodded. She was there. Saw all of it. But the man was already fractured— the last thing Gambit needed was a fractured ego. He’ll keep that bit to himself. “Need anything before I get to skippin’, pal?”
“Nope.”
He shook his head. Then the kids came down the stairs, and all the silence was gone. Taking a deep breath, he stood up, folded his paper and walked out the kitchen. Thats the good thing about being an early bird. You get the coffee when its hot.
“Ya won’t jump in.”
He got on to his motorcycle and revved it up. “Cause ya won’t know where I am.”
With that, Logan sped off, following his scent. But if he knew Rogue, he knew she’d follow.
“You complainin’ about it?”
He sipped his coffee, then looked back down at his paper. The bell was to ring soon and the wonderful silence was going to end.
“I had plenty a’time to heal.”
Logan got up and scoffed. Whatever Creed was up to this attack was only the beginning of it— a warning even. The man was nowhere to be seen now. “Stay out of this, kid. Its personal.”
"It was... Something. He didn't really fight me. It was more like he was playing with me or something... Plus he took my uh... My werewolf-ism from me somehow. But I got it back, no problem."
"They've been pretty normal in X-Men terms. Fought Sentinels, some Purifiers, even ran into Nimrod and Kang too." He says before taking a few sips of his beer.
