Got the basics of hands down, but still struggle with tricky poses?

Try practicing poses by imagining a pentagon that connects the five fingertips!

Also, for even more realistic hands:
✊ Tight fist = More creases around the knuckles and joints
🤲 Holding something = Wrap the whole hand around the object

Who struggles with drawing hands? 🤚

Don't start by drawing all five fingers. Focus on the overall hand shape first.

Think of it like this 👇
✅ Palm = a slightly rounded square
✅ Fingers = one mitten-like shape
✅ Palm-to-finger ratio = 1:1

Then, just split the shape into fingers. This'll make drawing hands much easier!

Let’s look at how fingers spread 🖖

Instead of thinking of fingers as five straight sticks, imagine they spread like a round hand fan.

Also, remember:
✅ Keep the index finger mostly straight
✅ Vary the gaps between the fingers

Just these two details can make your hands look much more expressive👀
