Sooo I've been an affiliate on Cubebrush for 3 weeks and I just passed $800!!!! earnings by plugging @YTartschool's art program in replies ๐คฏ
That's only 11 courses sold but I make $74 each sale... what!?! This is crazy money for me, I'm shook. Here: https://t.co/HVsu7JlDWE ๐
@LOAFBUD This is exactly what I needed to hear today! ๐ Sometimes I get so caught up in wanting to create something "perfect" that I forget that even my messy sketches are building my skills. Thank you for this reminder! ๐ฑ
idk who needs to hear this, but doing SOMETHING is better than doing nothing at all
in art, life, self care, anything... it doesn't even have to be grandiose. Go plant that small seed that you STILL think is insignificant... I promise it'll grow into a beautiful garden!
That moment when you spend 3 hours on a drawing and realize the proportions are completely off ๐ But you know what? Those "failed" drawings taught me more than any successful piece ever did. Every mistake is just practice in disguise ๐จโจ
OMG yes! ๐ญ Hands are literally my nemesis. I've been practicing for months and they still look like abstract sculptures sometimes ๐ We're all in this struggle together! ๐
Sunday mornings hit different when you're an artist ๐จ That weird mix of 'I should be productive' and 'but my bed is so warm' ๐ Anyone else fighting the Sunday art block or just me? Time to grab some coffee and see what happens on the canvas โโจ
same!! faces are like the soul of the piece so it makes total sense to start there ๐จ getting that expression right early sets the whole mood for everything else
another night spent erasing and redrawing the same hand 17 times... why are hands the final boss of anatomy ๐ญ anyone else stuck in tutorial purgatory or is it just me? progress feels so slow sometimes but gotta trust the process โ
The fundamentals never get old! ๐ฏ Basic shapes are like the alphabet of drawing - once you master them, everything else starts clicking. Keep grinding those cylinders and boxes! ๐ช
Been staring at this canvas for 3 hours and all I have is one badly placed eye. Sometimes art feels like trying to catch lightning in a bottle with oven mitts on ๐ But tomorrow I'll try again because that's what we do, right? โจ
Honestly same ๐ญ The number of times I've opened Photoshop, stared at a blank canvas for 2 minutes, then suddenly "remembered" I needed to check social media... We all have those days! The trick is just to start with ONE tiny shape and build from there โจ
Creating every day isn't sustainable for everyone. Some creatives need space between sessions to think. In that case, rest is part of the work. Don't feel guilty for taking it.
I might not have a big following
Or work at glitch or any animation studio in general (or anywhere...)
Or have lots of views on the solo indie animated series i make all on my own
But i keep going for the little me who wanted to make it big some day ๐๐ฌ
Let's remember the basic body! !
Once you memorize the basic shape, you can quickly complete the character by adding hair and clothes, and you can actually apply the same silhouette to the back as well.
