@crisortunity@RBKC And it's a horrible place to go shopping: disgusting traffic fumes, drivers bullying you when you try to cross roads. If I'm going to risk my life getting somewhere, I at least want it to be nice when I get there.

I'm always cheered up by the Hounslow High Street pedestrians, who just walk where the heck they want because they know there are no cars. I wish more shopping streets were like this.
Lionel Road South: once a horrible rat run, now you can hear birds singing, crowds cheering, people chatting. Anyone want it back how it was? No, thought not. @LBofHounslow@HounslowCycling@BrentfordFC
In case you were wondering if you can transport an 8 balloon by bike the answer is yes no problem! Left arm through one hole, rest of the balloon resting across your body. Just don't make any journeys where you might need to indicate left #quaxing
@sebdunnett Crossing this junction with children: "Look left. And right. And the other left. And in front of you. And behind. And now just check the first left again..." π
@KewEcofair was so much fun! Great to meet the legendary @davewalker, and chat to @RichmondCycling and @RuthMayorcas, and have bike smoothies, AND I got this amazing jacket for Β£5! Thanks to all the organisers, hope you'll do it again πΏπ
@ChiswickHighRd@LindseyBareham One Pot Wonders is my favourite cookbook! I've got a simple fuel-saving tip for you in return: don't drive to the local shops if you're only buying a leg of lamb and a bunch of parsley.
@tfl Overground is so good, I can't remember why I ever used to drive between W and NW London. Really busy all morning on a grey Feb Tuesday. The fact it matches my @BromptonBicycle and scarf is just an added bonus π§‘
One is a city run-around, the other an decorative vanity project. Something tells me the patrons of New Bond Street and I don't have them the same way round π
Kids can cycle themselves to holiday camp in a #15minutecity. And I can get all the way across Chiswick to collect them, on time, despite only remembering with 7 minutes to spare π― (with a bonus cardio workout along the way)
@nickcope4 thought you might want to know that alternative-you and alternative-Norman are in the Metro today, chatting about a wall covered in plants...
First time travelling with my dad and his mobility scooter, but not taking the car. Brilliantly accessible black cabs, lovely flat KX and great train trip to York with the help of @LNER assistance. We'll definitely do it again!
