@caitskirby@marney_pratt @careerconversa1 2 of 2: If a goal is to also require the students to gain experience in public speaking, I might ask them to present anyway but the presentation would be little to no points so they could practice without having their grade impacted by something that is not yet a strength.
@caitskirby@marney_pratt @careerconversa1 Science communication is increasingly important but I agree that we want to be aware and avoid any of the ists. I wonder what you thoughts would be on allowing students to substitute a paper, poster or recorded talk instead. 1 of 2
