When Weddington's Nick Diamond crossed the goal line after his 47 yard run early in the 3rd Qtr, I remembered back to Will Shipley's long TD run (67yds) in the state championship vs Lee County in '19. We continue to celebrate last nights football win! With our win last night, Coach Capone surpassed Coach Carson's record of 75-23 in his 7 year tenure and with a record of 76-8 in 6 seasons, Coach Capone is now the all-time winningest head football coach of Weddington! Congrats!
