This track has been home to champions for generations. This spring, it became the backdrop for Nike and @maniere_usa launch of the new Nike Pegasus Premium—a testament to the legacy, excellence, and culture that define Tigerland.
Make no mistake: big things are happening.
One day you’re gonna wake up and AAU basketball will be over. No more weekend tournaments, packed gyms, or team hotels. No more “one more game” next weekend.
One day you’ll be out of eligibility for high school basketball. Then college basketball too.
And eventually, the thing that feels like your whole world right now becomes a memory.
So stop playing scared. Shoot your shot. Sprint the floor. Dive on the loose ball. Compete with confidence. Enjoy your teammates. Because one day you’ll wish you could go back and play just one more game with them.
Fear and hesitation have ended way more careers than missed shots ever will.
Just something to think about.
A good high school basketball team doesn't need 5 scorers.
It needs a floor general, a lockdown defender, and somebody who knows their job is to rebound everything in sight.
Roles win games. Superstars are built out of teams that commit to those roles.
History is on the line!
Last year, Cypress Springs High School's boys' 4X100 team stunned the state of Texas, winning the relay as the eighth seed.
Now, tomorrow at 5:00 at the state track meet, they'll look to become the first-ever CFISD relay team to win back-to-back state titles! #ChooseCFISD #CFISDspirit 🥇🎉

I’m making a proposal to the @uiltexas to purchase and renovate the @ASTRODOME
Let’s bring back the 8th Wonder of the World and give the athletes of Texas High School sports a place to call their home for all state championship contests!
Please RT & let’s get this thing rolling!
Proud of our Cy Springs representation at the HABCA All-Star Game as Coaches Larry Boykin & Jacob Rawlinson led the way while CJ Ideozu and Tytin Hadnot represented the Panthers on the floor.

Never understood H.S. coaches who ignore freshman or JV programs.
That’s the future of your varsity team.
Then they complain about no depth, culture, or players ready for varsity.
If you only coach varsity, you’re not building a program—you’re just coaching a team.
And we get to keep her on campus!! My work circle is small but is a great one because of her and her loyalty and consistency. Super happy for my friend!! 🙏🏾🫶🏾
I’ve watched a ton of first session games across Nike EYBL, Adidas 3SSB, and Under Armour UAA. Here’s my honest takeaway:
Nike EYBL has the most talented and most skilled players, no debate. But there’s also a lot of low IQ basketball at times. Felt like I was watching the Houston Rockets every game. A lot of talent, a lot of chaos.
Adidas 3SSB has the best pure basketball product. High IQ plays, strong structure, and real offense being run. It looks the most like college basketball.
Under Armour UAA feels like a mix of both, but those kids play the hardest. There’s a real earned-not-given edge to that circuit. Tough, hungry players that compete like they’ve been overlooked their whole lives.
Nike has pros. (They also have the best shoes)
Adidas has the best watch for a basketball junkie.
UAA has that chip-on-the-shoulder feel.
