Head coaches often get the credit.
But assistant coaches are the glue.
- They teach the details.
- They build relationships.
- They keep the team focused.
The best teams don’t just have great leaders at the top.
They have great leaders everywhere.
“When you’re younger it’s always good to play as many sports as possible. Getting those multiple sports and maybe not being the best allows you to figure out how to have success, that builds you up,” Patrick Mahomes
The will to learn and passion to pursue success builds winners.
After 43 years of coaching, Coach Colace had his final home dual tonight vs Taunton. @FHSWrestle is what it is because of him. The number of athletes he has impacted over the years is endless. Thank you for being one of the greatest. The corner of the mat won’t be the same. 💙

That’s why we must protect them vs destroy the very thing that makes them special - that they’re exclusive to women!

@BostonHeraldHS@T_Mulherin is top notch in my book. He has done a tremendous job reporting and promoting field hockey. How many reporters would go UConn to report on a college field hockey after covering a full slate of HS games the day before?
Let’s also be clear: no one in the media has done more to promote the sport of field hockey than Tom Mulherin. He has busted his ass to provide top-notch coverage of the sport and hopefully the coaches and players realize this.
