Very proud of Zoey receiving the 2026 “Service to the School” award at Normal Community HS. The award was started in 1952 and is selected annually by the associate principal. It is meant to recognize the student that embodies the very spirit of community at NCHS. 🧡🖤

As an AD, my job is to bring in and retain coaches who can build, develop, and win. At the same time, good coaches want to be in environments where they have a real opportunity to succeed.
If a school’s vision does not prioritize winning or fails to provide the tools, support, and structure needed for success, it will struggle to attract and retain high level coaches. Talented coaches are intentional about where they invest their time and energy.
Winning is not about cutting corners or doing it at all costs. It is about alignment. When you have strong coaches, the right resources, and a clear commitment to success, those pieces work together. When everyone is not aligned, the culture is poisoned. That alignment is what builds a sustainable, competitive program.
Anybody have the Phillies in the 13 run pool? 🤦♂️Anybody do the 13 run pool anymore? 🤷♂️ I think Fear always had one at the College City Bowl in Macomb? #OldSchool@DIGCCB
Ralph & I are very proud of our new book. It is available for pre-order, along with a discount at the Coaches Choice website and will be on Amazon soon. We will be at the Final Four, signing books and doing an NABC clinic with Jim Crews on April 4th.

Coach Cal praised HPU for flying students out postgame.
He added: “Administrations win championships. Coaches win games. In this era of NIL, if you’re not totally into it and they’re not committed, you’re not winning. You just can’t. And High Point is.”
Worth the full listen.
What amazing event today by the Kiwanis Peoria Downtown Early Birds! FREE youth clinic (90+ kids!) 3pt contest & All-Star games for Area boys & girls HS Sr. I got to rep Eureka College & serve our community by helping run the clinic & then Zoey got to participate as a Sr. 💪🏀👍
