An easy way to integrate psychosocial skills into training.
Write mental skills on paper, have players pick one from a hat, give them 5 min to research its role in sports. Now after drills ask: How did your skill apply? How/why did you struggle? Reflection drives growth 🧠⚾️💪
What is competition really about? The Latin root competere means “to strive together.” So, are our competitors simply a tool to measure our own growth?
Can we reframe competition as a way to problem solve, develop, reflect and improve—not just to win?
