Everything I’ve heard about this project, how Universal’s been so considerate w/the sound walls, noise testing etc shows they’re very thoughtful of their neighbors. To complain about the ride before it’s even open is WILD.
If I lived next to USH, I’d be stoked for this ride🤷🏼♂️
I live next to a theme park. I hear noise every day, including fireworks. Yes, it’s noisy, but guess what? I knowingly CHOSE to live next to a theme park so it’s FINE! Why anyone would move there and then complain about noise is beyond me.
The Knoebel Family is heartbroken to share the passing of Richard “Dick” Knoebel, President Emeritus of Knoebels Amusement Resort.

Memorial arrangements and ways to honor Dick’s memory will be shared in the coming days.
I also thought their wording was quite odd. It’ll obviously be a brand new ride, but the wording made it sound like an extension to the current layout, which is just not happening😂 bizarre phrasing IMO.
I honestly don’t love the name, and would prefer something totally original
The Kumba’s Revenge announcement alongside the Kumba closure was a nice addition, to assure people a worthy replacement is coming. It helps soften the blow. That being said, how long till this realistically opens? Definitely not before 2028. We still have the flume replacement!
While it is sad to see Kumba go, I am not surprised at all. Ridership felt low, it’s constantly closed, and feels like most people ride it once and then move on. That space would benefit from something TALL you can see clearly over the tree line.
Glad BGT gave us all notice.
Today I visited the brand new Universal Kids Resort! I had heard a lot going in and wanted to form my own opinion and honestly… it looks a lot better in person. Don’t get me wrong, it’s far from perfect, but I actually had a great visit. Excited to share our video with you all!
@SoCal360 I’m sure there’s others who have me beat, but it’s definitely not an easy task! The addition of Qiddiya especially makes it way more of an ordeal to visit them all
SAD NEWS early this morning: Actor Sam Neill of “Jurassic Park” has passed away.
The news came from a post on his official Instagram account:
“Sam was surrounded by family and passed with the dignity that has characterised his whole life. The loss was sudden and unexpected but blessed by the fact that Sam remained cancer free.”
Neill had so many great roles and films over the years. I loved “In The Mouth Of Madness,” “The Dish,” “Peaky Blinders.” There are so many more. He was great in everything he popped up in.
Sam Neill was 78 years old. RIP.
@FPL_BigTime I’m actually not nostalgic for it at all! I didn’t grow to appreciate it until a few years ago when I started visiting Orlando as an adult. I don’t even remember riding it as a kid. I like it now cause it has airtime😂
While I would be sad, I also wouldn’t be surprised. The current version has that old school Arrow jank and not everyone loves it. I do…but I’ve seen many times family members who ride it once and that’s it. They might be trying to prioritize overall comfort by making it smoother
A massive rebuild of Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom could be on the way. Track, queue, and load stations are all expected to be replaced. A possible announcement could come at D23 in August 2026.

Was watching an interview with Christopher Nolan about The Odyssey and he shouted out @SFGreat_America for being one of the first times he saw a large screen format, that ultimately inspired him to pursue IMAX. Super cool!

The Disneyland Resort welcomed its 1 BILLIONTH guest! To put that in perspective, that’s over 12% of the world’s population!
Congrats to the OG for reaching that insane milestone.
The ending might be the best conclusion to any concert I’ve ever seen, she literally gets beamed up, just like the album cover. It’s… ethereal
10/10 recommend the Eternal Sunshine Tour
Ari is an INCREDIBLE performer live. Out of this world vocals, and seeing her up close like this made it feel like our own private concert. Mad respect for her, she OWNED that show!
I’ve been an Ariana Grande fan since the days of Victorious, and tonight we saw her live on the Eternal Sunshine tour, from the barricade by the stage! The craziest concert seats I’ve ever had, she was right in front of us the whole time! It was an absolutely incredible show!!
