Before with music it’s like a photo of me, the book is more like an x-ray. I’m curious how rejection will feel with this - if the feeling is different from music labels unkindly rejecting my albums n such. Ya know?

It’s a bit weird submitting the book. It’s not foreign to me, I’ve spent years publishing music, making soundtracks to video games, etc, but there’s a veil of identity not included in that other art form compared to a memoir about myself. The vulnerability is a bit different.

@_UGGGY And ya don’t even pay me. There is no benefit to the brown nosing. It’s genuine feedback from some Texas folks at their job. Enough to stop them in their commission based work to sit and listen says a lot. 🤷‍♂️

@_UGGGY I remember showing coworkers the gnome, the forest, etc and the general feedback was “refreshing,” (I am generalizing here), but it’s genuinely nice to hear authenticity and the inherent vulnerability that’s rooting in “non-performance.”

I like Theravada Buddhism, what UGGGY is asking or pointing to aligns well with the 5 fundamental aggregates of perceived reality. Form, feeling, perception, mental formation, and consciousness = the awareness of all 5 factors interdependent on one another.

I live somewhere else now, I don’t know if it’s still occurring there.

That place has weird stuff happening all the time. The tapes are checked almost daily.
