@rpierry Great question! The SolarShare site is in Cherokee County near Exit 277. It's positioned away from the roadway and designed with safety in mind, so it’s unlikely to distract drivers.

Yesterday we broke ground on SolarShare ☀️ a new community solar project in Cherokee County, right off I 75. This unique project is one of only a few interstate solar projects in the U.S., and just the second in Georgia.

SolarShare gives Cobb EMC members the opportunity to benefit from solar energy without installing panels at home, with no upfront costs.

The Cobb EMC Foundation is proud to support the Cherokee Education Foundation Youth Soccer Program. This organization provides free, after school soccer programs to 181 students across six Title I schools. The Foundation’s support helps remove barriers to participation, builds confidence and belonging, and gives kids a positive, supportive space to learn and grow, on and off the field. ⚽💙
