Theme: Privacy in the Era of Emerging Technologies: Trust, Ethics and Innovation

Data privacy is no longer a technical issue. It’s a daily life issue. Every time you use a mobile app, connect to Wi-Fi, apply for a service, or share information online, your personal data is collected, stored, and sometimes shared.

The big questions we should all be asking:
a)Who controls our data?
b)How is it being used?
c)Do we truly understand what we are consenting to?

If you can answer these and still give consent, you are making an informed choice. If you can’t, your privacy is already at risk.

Let’s use this week to ask better questions and make smarter digital decisions.
