1. The Court declined any invitation to interrogate the merits of the charges underpinning the impeachment of Rigathi Gachagua, holding that such issues fall squarely within the constitutional remit of the National Assembly and are therefore non-justiciable in that regard.

2. On the allegations of bias attributed to the Speaker and Members of the National Assembly, the Court observed that these amounted to no more than bare and unsubstantiated assertions, unsupported by evidence capable of displacing the constitutional presumption of regularity in parliamentary proceedings.

RELEASE OF THE APRIL 2026 ATP EXAMINATION RESULTS

The Council of Legal Education recognizes the commitment and effort demonstrated by ATP candidates who sat the April 2026 Advocates Training Programme (ATP) examinations administered from 9th to 21st April 2026 in Nairobi County across three (3) Examination Centres.

In preparation for the April 2026 ATP Examination series, CLE held a stakeholder engagement with The Kenya School of Law in January and subsequently conducted a candidate engagement webinar in April as part of its ongoing stakeholder engagement initiatives.

During the April 2026 ATP Examination Series, a total of 2,048 candidates registered for the examination. Following the deferment of 48 candidates within the prescribed timelines, a total of 2,000 candidates sat for the examination.

The ATP results are now available on the candidate portal. Candidates requiring clarification can contact [email protected]
