The House passed the CLARITY Act and it's expected to fully pass on July 4th. The CLARITY Act could become a major turning point for the commercialization and financing of the space economy.

Why?

Because space assets are emerging as the next major asset class and the first to be built with blockchain-based infrastructure from the ground up. Unlike traditional asset classes that are now being retrofitted for tokenization, space assets can be designed natively for programmable ownership, liquidity, financing, and global participation from inception.

They’ll include:
satellites
lunar payloads
reusable rockets
orbital infrastructure and compute
space-generated data

The challenge is that the financial infrastructure and marketplace layer for space assets barely exists today. At Copernic Space, we’ve been building the Real World Space Asset (RWSA) standard to help tokenize, commercialize, finance, and create marketplaces around space assets globally.

We believe tokenization through what Copernic Space is building is emerging as the financial operating system for the space economy.

With clearer regulatory pathways, including frameworks tied to qualifying tokenized fundraising models up to $75M annually, the infrastructure being built today will become incredibly important over the coming years.
