The Professional Women’s Hockey League experienced historic growth in its third season, the league announced on Tuesday.
The 2025-26 season welcomed 1,116,497 fans across 120 regular season games, the first time the league has surpassed one million fans in a single season.
The PWHL smashed its attendance record with a sold-out Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.
The New York Sirens vs. the Seattle Torrent brought in 18,006 fans—marking the highest-attended game in women’s hockey history.
