Great news! 🎉
Our Invenio Notify module has been accepted into the upcoming Invenio v14 release.
Built on the #COARNotify protocol, it helps repositories exchange trusted notifications with journals, peer review platforms and other services.

At Cottage Labs, we've created EASE - a practical checklist for data-rich repositories that helps teams reduce cognitive load and improve usability.
Explain. Arrange. Simplify. Enable.

At Cottage Labs, we’ve kicked off the next phase of #COARNotify for #InvenioRDM, bringing the peer review workflow from Peer Community In to #Episciences.
Take a look at the workflow below👇

At Cottage Labs, we’ve been working on Hyrax Notify 👀
Peer review is still stuck in emails.
We’re changing that by enabling reviews and endorsements to flow between systems and appear directly on the work.
Cleaner workflows. Better visibility.

Repositories can be technically accessible, but still hard to use.
At #OR2026, Aga Domańska explores cognitive accessibility and how better design can reduce overload, support real workflows, and make complex data easier to navigate.

We’ve seen a big rise in @DOAJplus traffic, much of it from bots.
At Cottage Labs, we reworked the architecture: pre-generated content + split index (read only search, read write editorial).
Less friction, more stability.
