@slimvnsn I once read a comment of a woman who got her very good elementary school teacher fired & publicly shamed by claiming the teacher pinched her when she most certainly did not. Then you hear of stories of children who begged to be believed they were being abused & were dismissed. 😔

@dimvji No one gives death its due like the original Christian church. My daughter has been to many funerals since losing her brother & she comes home & sobs at the state of grief for people outside the faith. At how little understanding of what death is, & what it is for the departed.

@dimvji I wouldn’t have survived it had I not been protected by the traditions, prayer, & empathy of the ancient Christian church. Praying for my departed w/o ceasing. Asking confidently for him to pray for us. Frequent & regular memorial services of him in the church, a profound burial.

@Breaking57 Get a grain mill (share one w/ family if need be) & buy wheat LOCALLY. A mockmill costs $350. Organic Wheat $1 per lb. Make your own bread, pasta, crackers, biscuits, pancakes, muffins & cereal for cents- a health game changer. (It’s shelf bread, not gluten, that wreaks havoc.)

@TradAdvocate The disabled abortion debate is hitting close to home because while I was born into a church & family that gave me full clarity on what abortion is & what humanity is, our situation was only ever discussed from a secular world view. I see now how similar the two situations are.

@housewelf Have you not seen kids today tear through a buffet unsupervised, piling plates that are then tossed? Cutting lines, roughhousing & leaving messes everywhere? Kids hovering at the punch bowl, eating standing at the serving table? Until parents parent again, expect more exclusion.

@housewelf There is a family I know who feigns oblivion to the disruption & wreckage their kids cause wherever they go. They don’t tend to their children knowing others aren’t going to let them starve or die. They aren’t the only ones. Blame them & not the couple saying kids aren’t welcome.

We should fear our end if we participate in the sacraments w/o living a sacramental life & proclaim Orthodoxy w/o submission to its tenets. Why put that on kids? Nostalgia? A photo op

@Stephen19718352 So many moms don’t let their children have a moments quiet to think! Constant narration in high pitched baby voice, not even using actual terms or correct pronunciation. Why would you confuse a kid like this during the most important time for language development.
