It’s never too late to start masking. If you stopped when the government said you could - you don’t need their permission to start again. You don’t need a mandate to do the right thing.
Masking is a sign of community care AND resistance. Mask up and show solidarity.
So many manuscripts/proofs I've seen recently have used the term "post-pandemic", and, like a good editor, I note in my comments that while the WHO announced the end of the emergency phase in May 2023, the pandemic is ongoing.
I will keep doing this for as long as it remains true
