The extent of the damage was striking. Records were set for damage, the number of people working in the field to restore power, and more. Teams performed exceptionally and we have opportunities to improve.

Restoration work continues after Wednesday's storm. Current outages are widespread, complex & time-consuming. Crews are prioritizing backbone infrastructure before moving to service lines. This order ensures efficiency & safety.

1. OPPD forestry crew free the lines from the debris
2. OPPD line crews do the line work to bring back power
3. Homeowner is responsible for cleaning up remaining debris
