There is already a Bitcoin symbol: ₿
Bitcoin isn’t a smiley face. It deserves a permanent place on the keyboard. And it’s been hiding in plain sight for almost a decade.
You’re fighting the wrong fight. Petition iOS and Android to support the Bitcoin character natively alongside other currencies: $ € £ ¥ ₿.
The Bitcoin symbol has been available to type as a part of Unicode since 2017. You just didn’t see it.
How to Type the ₿ Symbol:
Mac/iOS/Android: The easiest method is to copy the symbol (₿) from a site like Emojipedia and use text replacement settings to create a shortcut.
Windows:
Hold down Alt and type 8383 on the numeric keypad.
Microsoft Word:
Type 20BF and then press Alt + X.
HTML/Web: Use the code ₿ or ₿

Then, in the last 5 seconds he draws the analogy to the deficit in the United States budget.
