What's going on in the Town of Cutler Bay

Miami-Dade Association of Police Chiefs are also against the @MayorDaniella GTA marketing deal

It was amazing watching the Florida Senate property tax debate this week, as one senator after another - @BryanAvilaFL, @IleanaGarciaUSA, @senpizzo and @TinaPolsky - just TRASH Miami Dade County government as wasteful, inefficient and corrupt. Absolutely brutal. @CBSMiami

[Garrett Shanley @garrettshanley]

Florida lawmakers are using Miami-Dade County as Exhibit A for wasted tax dollars as Tallahassee pushes for a sweeping property tax overhaul. @MiamiHerald

Would it be a good idea for local governments to scan last-minute legislation and post it on their websites for the public to read?

[Jeff Weinsier @jweinsierWPLG]

Threatened with arrest! We are in a public park, at a public event trying to interview the elected Mayor. #miamidade #miamidadesheriff

Miami-Dade Mayor Levine Cava's PAC got $100K from Li'l Abner developer, she helped him secure $9 million in affordable housing funding https://t.co/dzkWedyeDd via @Florida_Bulldog

[Doug Hanks @doug_hanks]

Another grim annual budget message from @MayorDaniella. The charter-required start to the 27 budget process has Levine Cava repeating her flat-tax austerity message, noting county has "far less flexibility [for] new projects." What's on the chopping block? https://t.co/XL1nF31plJ

[Doug Hanks @doug_hanks]

The @MayorDaniella admin is facing a mess with the West Dade Govt Center project, with ballooning cost estimates on what's needed to renovate the building and make it a new permitting center https://t.co/84Topok1OQ

🚨 Here is the full 40 minutes of my crew and I exposing California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger... We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud as these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences. Like it and share it, the fraud must STOP.

We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening. These fraudsters have been able to defraud American taxpayers for years without any pushback from the public and politicians.

It is time to EXPOSE IT ALL and end America's fraud crisis.

Looks a lot better than South Dade where poor light synchronization is causing serious delays with the county ignoring the problem.

[Anthony Hernandez @Hernandez_A]

Addition we need better and more responsive traffic signals. Biscayne is becoming a choke point.

If this is not happily ever after, then I don’t know what is.

BREAKING - Walmart is yet again facing another pricing scandal as this customer is going viral after confronting a store manager over hundreds of dollars of overpriced meat, with 2 pound hams being marked as 5, and the manager claiming they can’t be reweighed once they get them.

NEW: Three and a half minute video shows the moments leading up to an ICE agent firing at Renee Good in Minneapolis.

- The footage was filmed by someone from their home.

- Good's vehicle comes into view at about the 45-second mark.

- Good appeared to be dancing in the car to the sound of the honks.

- Loud honking was heard throughout the entire video, appearing to come from Good's vehicle.

- Good's vehicle was perpendicular in the street for most, if not all, of the 3 and a half minutes.

- Video stops the moment before shots were fired.

Powerful words

[Tom & Barbara Condon @cutlerbay]

People are considering protesting along the busway because it’s negatively affecting automobile traffic. Lots of pictures of government officials patting themselves on the back. No solutions coming from @MayorDaniella or advocacy from @MiamiDadeBCC

[Tom & Barbara Condon @cutlerbay]

@OfficialJoelF That’s nothing. Traffic in South Dade is worse.

🚨 PEOPLE ARE SAYING REESE’S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS TASTE LIKE “CHEMICALS” NOW

A guy tried to sneak a Reese’s from his kid’s Halloween stash and says the taste stopped him cold:

“It tasted like straight chemicals.”
“I swear they didn’t used to taste like that.”
“I could swear they didn’t used to taste that nasty.”

He blames the ingredients list, which is now packed with additives and the comments are full of people saying their favorite candy suddenly tastes “off,” “weird,” or “nothing like it used to.”

Has Reese’s changed?
Has the formula shifted?
Or are people just noticing something they ignored before?

Do Reese’s taste the same to YOU, or have you noticed a change?
