Glimpses from “CYBER SECURITY FLASH - PAUSE FOR SAFETY” , a
2km Walkathon, at Necklace road this evening, conducted by Telangana Police and Cyber Security Bureau to raise awareness about cyberfrauds.

Thousands of participants from all walks of life enthusiastically joined the walk endorsing their support and reflecting the collective spirit of people marching towards a cybersafe #Telangana. This Walkathon marks the beginning of a month-long awareness campaign across Telangana.

Today was a very heavy day ! 7 meetings and programmes

1) Safe city project review with all 4 CP s and WSWing.

2) Discussion on the fresh GO s for the reorganisation of the 4 commissionerates aligning them fully with the municipal corporations and distribution of men , vehicles , weapons and other logistics

3) Police officers Mess Committee meeting where the accounts , sanction of fresh works to spruce up the facilities were discussed

4) YIPS police school meeting to discuss the plans for completion of the buildings in the new campus and double intake of fresh students for next academic year to 720

5) Police Housing Corporation Board meeting where the implementation of the decisions in the last were reviewed, ongoing works were reviewed and accounts were passed

6) review of the Bollaram arms theft case after completion of police remand period and the fresh findings which will be revealed to the media soon

7) and finally participated in the Cyber Security 2 kms walk at necklace road alongwith all my officers and Actor AdaviSesh as part of the October month long global cyber awareness campaign.

The day was hectic but very satisfying as lot of ground was covered in many issues

ఈ రోజు చాలా బిజీగా గడిచింది! మొత్తం 7 సమావేశాలు, కార్యక్రమాల్లో పాల్గొన్నాను.

1. నాలుగు కమిషనరేట్ల సీపీలు, ఉమెన్ సేఫ్టీ వింగ్‌తో సేఫ్ సిటీ ప్రాజెక్ట్ పై సమీక్ష.
2. నాలుగు పోలీస్ కమిషనరేట్ల పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరణను పూర్తిగా మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్ల పరిధులతో అనుసంధానం చేయడం పై ఈ మధ్య జారీ అయిన జీఓలపై చర్చించాను. సిబ్బంది, వాహనాలు, ఆయుధాలు, ఇతర లాజిస్టిక్స్‌ను పంపిణీ చేయడం వం���ి అంశాలపై చర్చ జరిగింది.
3. పోలీస్ ఆఫీసర్స్ మెస్ కమిటీ సమావేశంలో ఖాతాలు, అలాగే మెస్ సౌకర్య��లను మరింత మెరుగుపరిచేందుకు చేపట్టాల్సిన కొత్త పనులకు అనుమతులు వంటి అంశాలపై చర్చించాము.
4. YIPS పోలీస్ స్కూల్ సమావేశంలో కొత్త క్యాంపస్‌లో భవనాల నిర్మాణాన్ని పూర్తి చేసే ప్రణాళికలపై, అలాగే వచ్చే విద్యా సంవత్సరంలో కొత్త విద్యార్థుల ప్రవేశాలను రెట్టింపు చేసి మొత్తం సంఖ్యను 720కి పెంచే అంశంపై చర్చించాము.
5. పోలీస్ హౌసింగ్ కార్పొరేషన్ బోర్డు సమావేశంలో గత సమావేశంలో తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయాల అమలును సమీక్షించడంతో పాటు, కొనసాగుతున్న పనుల పురోగతిని సమీక్షించి, ఖాతాలను ఆమోదించాము.
6. బొల్లారం ఆయుధాల చోరీ కేసుపై పోలీస్ కస్టడీ (రిమాండ్) కాలం పూర్తయిన అనంతరం సమీక్ష నిర్వహించాను. దర్యాప్తులో తాజాగా వెలుగులోకి వచ్చిన అంశాలపై చర్చించాము. వీటిని త్వరలో మీడియాకు వెల్లడించనున్నాము.
7. చివరగా, అక్టోబర్ నెలంతా నిర్వహిస్తున్న గ్లోబల్ సైబర్ అవేర్‌నెస్ క్యాంపెయిన్లో భాగంగా, అధికారులతో పాటు నటుడు అడివి శేష్ తో కలిసి నెక్లెస్ రోడ్‌లో నిర్వహించిన 2 కిలోమీటర్ల సైబర్ సెక్యూరిటీ వాక్లో పాల్గొన్నాను.

రోజంతా ఎంతో బిజీగా గడిచినప్పటికీ, అనేక ముఖ్యమైన అంశాలపై గణనీయమైన పురోగతి సాధించగలిగినందుకు చాలా సంతృప్తిగా ఉంది.

యంగ్ ఇండియా పోలీస్ స్కూల్ (YIPS) అకాడమిక్ బ్లాక్ నిర్మాణానికి ₹2 కోట్ల CSR అందించిన MYK Laticrete సంస్థకు నా కృతజ్ఞతలు. పోలీస్ సిబ్బంది పిల్లలతో పాటు సాధారణ పౌరుల పిల్లలకు కూడా నాణ్యమైన విద్యను అందించాలనే లక్ష్యంతో ఈ పాఠశాలను అభివృద్ధి చేస్తున్నాం. ఇటువంటి ��ంస్థలు అందించే సహకారం YIPSలో మెరుగైన మౌలిక వసతులను అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి, విద్యార్థులకు ఎన్నో సంవత్సరాల పాటు ఉపయోగపడే సౌకర్యాలను కల్పించడానికి మా ప్రయత్నాలకు ఎంతో విలువైన తోడ్పాటును అందిస్తుంది.

ఈ CSR ఫండ్ ప్రస్తుతం జరుగుతున్న నిర్మాణ పనులను మరింత వేగంగా పూర్తి చేసేందుకు దోహదపడుతుంది.

Thanks to MYK Laticrete for extending a ₹2 crore CSR contribution towards the construction of the Young India Police School(YIPS) Academic Block. The school is being developed to provide quality education to the children of police personnel as well as the wider community. Contributions from generous organisations give meaningful support to our efforts to build better infrastructure at YIPS and create facilities that will serve students for years to come.

This contribution is a significant boost to the ongoing construction and will help expedite the work.

సైబర్ సెక్యూరిటీ అవేర్‌నెస్ మంత్ - 2026

మీరు ఏం చేస్తున్నా, ఎక్కడ నివసిస్తున్నా సైబర్ నేరం ప్రతి ఒక్కరికీ ముప్పుగా మారింది. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఎంతోమంది తమ డబ్బును కోల్పోతున్నారు. తెలం��ాణ పోలీస్, సైబర్ సెక్యూరిటీ బ్యూరో సైబర్ నేరాలను సమర్థవంతంగా అరికట్టేందుకు నిరంతరం కృషి చేస్తున్నప్పటికీ, కొంతమంది ఇప్పటికీ సైబర్ మోసాలకు బలవుతున్నారు. అందుకే అవగాహనే మనకు ఉన్న అత్యంత బలమైన రక్షణ.

అక్టోబర్ నెలను ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా సైబర్ సెక్యూరిటీ అవేర్‌నెస్ మంత్ గా నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. రేపటి నుండి రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా నెల రోజుల పాటు నిర్వహించే అవగాహన కార్యక్రమాలని ప్రతి వార్డు, వీధి, సంస్థ, కమ్యూనిటీకి తీసుకెళ్తున్నాం. రేపు, అక్టోబర్ 1న, నెక్లెస్ రోడ్‌లో “CYBER SECURITY FLASH: PAUSE FOR SAFETY” పేరుతో 2 km వాక్‌తో ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రారంభిస్తున్నాం.

Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2026

#Cybercrime is a threat to every one no matter what you do and where you live. People across the globe are loosing their money . While #Telangana Police and the Cyber Security Bureau are working relentlessly and tackling cybercrime effectively, some people still fall prey to cyber frauds. So awareness remains our strongest defence.

October is observed globally as Cybersecurity Awareness Month. In Telangana, we are taking this message to every ward, street, institution and community through a month-long statewide awareness campaign. We are kicking it off tomorrow, October 1, with “CYBER SECURITY FLASH - PAUSE FOR SAFETY”, a 2-km night awareness walk at Necklace Road.

I invite you to join us at 6 PM. Let us walk together, spread awareness about cyber fraud. Walk with us for a safer digital Telangana.

ఈ రోజు RBVRR తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ అకాడమీలో శిక్షణ పొందుతున్న 112 మంది ప్రొబేషనరీ డీఎస్పీలతో మాట��లాడాను. పోలీసింగ్‌లో నాయకత్వంపై వారికి ఒక సెషన్ తీసుకున్నాను. నాయకత్వం అనేది పదవులు లేదా బాస్‌గా వ్యవహరించడం కాదని, ధైర్యం, దూరదృష్టి, నిజాయితీ, సమష్టి కృషి, మంచి కమ్యూనికేషన్, కష్టపడి పనిచేయడం, నూతన ఆ��ోచనలు, అన్నింటికంటే ముఖ్యంగా వినయం వంటి లక్షణాలకు సంబంధించినదని స్పష్టం చేశాను. ప్రజాసేవలో సుదీర్ఘమైన కెరీర్‌లో నైతిక విలువలను పాటించడం, మన ప్రతిష్ఠను కాపాడుకోవడం అత్యంత ముఖ్యమని కూడా వారికి చెప్పాను.

ఇక్కడ ఏడాది శిక్షణ అనంతరం, వీరు తమ శిక్షణలో భాగంగా మరో 11 నెలల పాటు జిల్లాల్లో విధులు నిర్వహిస్తూ శిక్షణ పొందనున్నారు.

అనంతరం 5వ తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ స్పోర్ట్స్ అండ్ గేమ్స్ మీట్-2026లో��ి క్లస్టర్-సి విజేతలకు బహుమతులు అందజేశాను. బ్యాడ్మింటన్, లాన్ టెన్నిస్, టేబుల్ టెన్నిస్ విభాగాల్లో 700 మందికి పైగా పోలీసు సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు. క్లస్టర్ విధానాన్ని ప్రవేశపెట్టి, దానిని ఆల్ ఇండియా పోలీస్ స్పోర్ట్స్ అండ్ గేమ్స్ క్యాలెండర్‌తో అనుసంధానం చేయడం ద్వారా ప్రతిభావంతులను గుర్తించడం, వారికి సాధనకు తగిన సమయం కల్పించడం, మరిన్ని పోటీల్లో పాల్గొనే అవకాశం కల్పించడం, తద్వారా ���ోలీస్ క్రీడాకారులు ఉన్నత స్థాయి పోటీల్లో మరింతగా రాణించేలా చేయడం సాధ్యమవుతుంది.

Today, I interacted with 112 probationary DSPs undergoing training at the RBVRR Telangana Police Academy. I took a session on leadership in policing and underscored that leadership is not about titles or being a boss, but about courage, vision, integrity, teamwork, communication, hard work, innovation and, above all, humility. I also emphasised the utmost importance of ethics and protecting one’s reputation through a long career in public service.After a one year training here , they now go to the districts for another 11 months before they finishing their training .

Later, I presented prizes to the winners of Cluster-C of the 5th Telangana Police Sports and Games Meet-2026. More than 700 police personnel participated in badminton, lawn tennis and table tennis. With the introduction of the cluster system and its alignment with the All India Police Sports and Games calendar, we can identify talent, provide adequate time for practice, ensure greater competitive exposure and help our sportspersons excel at higher-level competitions.

The HCA has started live telecasts of all the one day matches played apart from the two dayers and 3 dayers which was being done previously, mainly to overcome allegations of tampering and manipulation of scores and wickets. That’s how our Sunday leagues are coming live on you tube and I am perhaps for the first time in 45 years since I started playing league cricket , am able to watch recordings of my own batting and bowling . It’s great fun !

This Sundays match of Secunderabad club was against Mayura CC. They batted first and I bowled 6 overs and after a long time , got some wickets - 4
Chasing 145 , we sent in our youngsters in the team to chase the target and they finished it off losing 6 wickets.

ఈ కథనాన్ని సోషల్ మీడియాలో చూసిన వెంటనే, ఆ రోజు జరిగిన సంఘటన నాకు స్పష్టంగా గుర్తుకొచ్చింది. 100 మందికి పైగా ఆందోళనకారులు నన్ను, నా చిన్న బృందం పైన రాళ్లు రువ్వుతుంటే,అందరినీ రక్షించేందుకు నేను నా పిస్టల్‌తో కాల్పులు జరిపాను. ఆ తర్వాత కూడా వారిని మల్లేపల్లి చుట్టుపక్కల వీధుల్లో వెంబడించడం ప్రారంభించాను. 2000 నుంచి 2004 మధ్యకాలంలో మేము ఎదుర్కొన్న శాంతిభద్రతల సవాళ్లు, పరిస్థితిని అదుపులోకి తీసుకురావడానికి హైదరాబాద్ సిటీ పోలీస్ చేసిన కృషి గుర్తుకొచ్చాయి.

ఆ రోజు నేను కాల్పులు జరుపుతున్న దృశ్యాలను ఒక ఫోటోగ్రాఫర్ చిత్రీకరించగా ఆ ఫోటోస్ మరుసటి రోజు పత్రికల్లో వచ్చాయి.. ఆ ఫోటోలు ఆర్కైవ్స్‌లో వెతికి చూస్తాను!

నా జీవితంలో మర్చిపోలేని క్రైమ్‌ రిపోర్టింగ్‌ జ్ఞాపకం
క్రైమ్‌ రిపోర్టర్‌గా ఎన్నో హత్యలు చూశాను. అల్లర్లు చూశాను. లాఠీచార్జీలు, పోలీసు కాల్పులు కవర్‌ చేశాను.వార్త రాశాక చాలా ఘటనలు కాలంతో పాటు జ్ఞాపకాల పొరల్లోకి వెళ్లిపోయాయి.కానీ ఒక దృశ్య�� మాత్రం ఇప్పటికీ నా కళ్లముందే ఉంది.

అది 2003.
మల్లేపల్లి.
మహమ్మద్‌ గౌస్‌ మృతి తర్వాత ఆయన అంతిమయాత్ర జరుగుతోంది. అప్పుడు నేను ఆంధ్రభూమి క్రైమ్‌ రిపోర్టర్‌గా అక్కడే ఉన్నాను.గౌస్‌ మృతదేహంతో ఊరేగింపు మల్లేపల్లి మసీదు దాటి ముందుకు సాగుతోంది. అప్పటి వెస్ట్‌జోన్‌ డీసీపీ అంజనా సిన్హా, టాస్క్‌ఫోర్స్‌, ఇతర పోలీసు బలగాలతో పాటు మేము మీడియా ప్రతినిధులం కూడా ఊరేగింపుతోనే ఉన్నాం.

అంతలో ముంద��� వైపు అఘాపుర బ్యాంకు దగ్గర గొడవ మొదలైంది.
కొన్ని క్షణాల్లోనే పరిస్థితి మారిపోయింది.

అరుపులు...

అఘాపుర వైపు దహనాలు మొదలయ్యాయి.
అప్పటివరకు ఊరేగింపును కవర్‌ చేస్తున్న మేము ఒక్కసారిగా అల్లర్ల మధ్య చిక్కుకున్నాం.ఇటువైపు అంజనా సిన్హా తన బృందంతో పరిస్థితిని ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారు. ఆమె వెనుక మేము మీడియా ప్రతినిధులం.

అప్పుడే...
ఎదురువైపు నుంచి తుపాకీ మోత వినిపించింది. అఘాప���ర కవర్ చేసుకుంటూ
పొగ, మంటలు, రాళ్ల మధ్య నుంచి ఒక పోలీసు బృందం మా వ��పు వస్తోంది.
ఆ బృందానికి ముందున్న అధికారి చేతిలో పిస్టల్.

ఆయనే సీవీ ఆనంద్‌.అప్పటి సెంట్రల్‌జోన్‌ డీసీపీ.తన సిబ్బందిని ముందుకు పంపి తాను వెనుక నిలబడలేదు.
తానే ముందుండి... తన గన్‌తో ఫైరింగ్‌ చేస్తూ... తన బృందాన్ని వెంట తీసుకుని రోడ్డును క్లియర్‌ చేసుకుంటూ మా వైపు రావడం నా కళ్లతో చూశాను.

ఒకవైపు అంజనా సిన్హా బృందం...
ఎదురువైపు ఆనంద్‌ బృందం...
మధ్యలో మంటలు, రాళ్లు, అల్లకల్లోలం.
ఆనంద్‌ ర��వడం మరికొంత ఆలస్యమై ఉంటే పరిస్థితి ఏమయ్యేదో నాకు ఇప్పటికీ తలచుకుంటే ఒళ్లు జలదరిస్తుంది.
అంజనా సిన్హాతో పాటు ఆమె వెనుక ఉన్న మేము మీడియా ప్రతినిధులు కూడా తీవ్రంగా గాయపడే ప్రమాదం కనిపించింది.

ఆ రోజు నాకు మరో విషయం అర్థమైంది.
పోలీసు అధికారి అంటే వైర్‌లెస్‌లో ఆదేశాలు ఇచ్చేవాడు మాత్రమే కాదు.
అవసరమైనప్పుడు...
తన సిబ్బందికంటే ముందు అడుగు వేసేవాడు కూడా.
పోలీసులు తమ ప్రాణాల గురించి ఆలోచించి వెనక్కి తగ్గి ఉంటే... అవసరమైన సమయంలో కాల్పులు జరపకుండా ఉండి ఉంటే... అక్కడ విధ్వంసం ఇంకెంత దూరం వెళ్లేదో చెప్పలేం.

క్రైమ్‌ రిపోర్టర్‌గా ఎన్నో పోలీసు ఆపరేషన్లు చూశాను.
కానీ ఒక ఐపీఎస్‌ అధికారి చేతిలో గన్‌తో, తన బృందానికి ముందుండి అల్లర్లను ఎదుర్కొంటూ రావడాన్ని అంత దగ్గరగా చూసిన క్షణాలు మాత్రం అవే.
23 ఏళ్లు గడిచిపోయాయి.
ఆ రోజు మంటలు, పొగ మధ్య నేను చూసిన సీవీ ఆనంద్‌...
ఈ రోజు తెలంగాణ డీజీపీ.

ఇప్పుడు ఆయనను చూసినప్పుడు నాకు ముందుగా గుర్తుకొచ్చేది ఆయన కుర్చీ కాదు... హోదా కాదు.

మీ సుదీర్ఘ పోలీసు జీవితంలో ఆ రోజు జరిగిన వంద సంఘటనల్లో ఇది ఒకటిగా మిగిలిపోయి ఉండవచ్చు.
కానీ ఆ రోజు అక్కడే నిలబడి ఆ దృశ్యాన్ని కళ్లారా చూసిన ఒక క్రైమ్‌ రిపోర్టర్‌కు మాత్రం అది వార్త కాదు... జీవితాంతం వెంట వచ్చే జ్ఞాపకం.

కాలం హోదాలను మార్చింది...
కాలం మన ముఖ��లను మార్చింది...
కానీ నా కళ్లలో నిలిచిపోయిన
ఆ రోజు ఆనంద్‌ను మాత్రం కాలం మార్చలేకపోయింది.

తెలంగాణ వ్యాప్తంగా గణేష్ విగ్రహాల శోభాయాత్రలు, నిమజ్జన కార్యక్రమాలు పూర్తి స్థాయిలో కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. హైదరాబాద్ నగరం, ముఖ్యంగా CURE ప్రాంతంలో సాయంత్రం నుంచి శోభాయాత్రలు, నిమజ్జనాల వేగం పెరిగింది.

గణేష్ ఐడల్స్ పోర్టల్‌లో నమోదైన వివరాల ప్రకారం, రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా బహిరంగ ప్రదేశాల్లో సుమారు 1.24 లక్షల గణేష్ విగ్రహాలను ప్రతిష్ఠించారు. వీటి కోసం ట్రాఫిక్, బందోబస్తు ఏర్పాట్లు అవసరం. ఇప్పటివరకు సుమారు 80,000 విగ్రహాలు నిమజ్జనం అయ్యాయి. ఉదయం నుంచి నిమజ్జనం కోసం బారులుతీరిన సుమారు 32,000 విగ్రహాల్లో 6,350 విగ్రహాలు ఇప్పటివరకు నిమజ్జనం అయ్యాయి. అపార్ట్‌మెంట్లు, కాలనీలు, కమ్యూనిటీలు, ఇళ్లలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన విగ్రహాలను కలుపుకుంటే మొత్తం విగ్రహాల సంఖ్య సుమారు 3.5 నుంచి 4 లక్షల వరకు ఉంటుందని అంచనా.

శోభాయాత్రలో పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో ప్రజలు పాల్గొంటున్నందున, హైదరాబాద్ నగరంపైనే మా ప్రధాన దృష్టి ఉంది. శుక్రవారం ప్రార్థనలను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని ఈ ఏడాది శోభాయాత్రలు కొద్దిగా ఆలస్యంగా ప్రారంభమయ్యాయి. సాయంత్రం 5 గంటల నుంచి నగరంలో శోభాయాత్రలు వేగంగా కదులుతున్నాయి.

మొత్తం 13 డ్రోన్లు, ఎత్తైన భవనాలపై ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కెమెరాలు, వేలాది CCTV కెమెరాలతో పరిస్థితిని నిరంతరం పర్యవేక్షిస్తున్నాం. పో��ీస్ సిబ్బందితో పాటు క్రేన్ ఆపరేటర్లు, ఇతర ప్రభుత్వ శాఖల సిబ్బందిని కూడా ��ెద్ద ఎత్తున రంగంలోకి దించాం. గరిష్ట సంఖ్యలో విగ్రహాల నిమజ్జనం పూర్తయ్యేలా మా బృందాలు రాత్రంతా విధుల్లో ఉంటాయి. రేపు ఉదయం 11 గంటలలోపు ట్యాంక్‌బండ్, ఖైరతాబాద్ ఫ్లైఓవర్‌పై ట్రాఫిక్‌ను పునరుద్ధరించేందుకు అన్ని చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నాం. ఇప్పటివరకు శోభాయాత్రలు, నిమజ్జన కార్యక్రమాలు ప్రశాంతంగా కొనసాగుతున్నాయి.

మండపాల నిర్వాహకులు, భక్తులు, ప్రజలందరూ పోలీసులకు సహకరించి, వీలైనంత త్వర���ా నిమజ్జన కార్యక్రమాలను పూర్తి చేయాలని మరోసారి విజ్ఞప్తి చేస్తున్నాను. దురదృష్టవశాత్తు, గత 10 రోజుల్లో నిమజ్జనానికి సంబంధించిన ఘటనల్లో ఒక ఎస్‌ఐతో పాటు 12 మంది పౌరులు ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోగా, 26 మంది గాయపడ్డారు.

వర్షం, రోడ్ ల పై చెత్త ఉండే కారణంగా రహదారులు పై జారే అవకాశం ఉంది. కాబట్టి ప్రజలందరూ జాగ్రత్తగా ప్రయాణించండి. అందరూ సురక్షితంగా తమ ఇళ్లకు చేరుకోవాలని కోరుకుంటున్నాను.

Ganesh idol processions and immersions are underway in full scale across Telangana, with the pace picking up significantly in Hyderabad City and the CURE area since https://t.co/0imqpJq0PG per registrations on the Ganesh Idols Portal, around 1.24 lakh idols were installed at public places across the State, where traffic and bandobust arrangements are required. Around 80,000 have been immersed so far. Of the 32,000 idols lined up for immersion since morning, about 6,350 have been immersed. Including idols installed in apartments, communities and individual homes, the total number is estimated to be around 3.5 to 4 lakh.

Our primary focus remains Hyderabad City, given the scale of the Shobayatra and public participation. Processions began a little later this year, keeping Friday prayers in mind, and gathered pace from around 5 PM.

We have deployed 13 drones, high-rise cameras and thousands of CCTV cameras, besides mobilising the police force, crane operators and other government departments. Our teams are working through the night to facilitate maximum immersions and restore traffic on Tank Bund and Khairatabad Flyover by tomorrow morning 11am. The processions and immersions are going on peacefully so far.

I once again appeal to all mandap organisers, devotees and citizens to cooperate and complete the immersions at the earliest. Sadly, one SI and 12 civilians have lost their lives, and 26 people have been injured in immersion-related incidents over the past 10 days.
