Control systems engineers rely on these 10 block diagram transformations to simplify complex systems.
Covering cascade combinations, parallel blocks, feedback elimination, and adjustments to summing and take-off points, the table details each rule with its equation, block diagram, and equivalent representation.
In practice, these rules are applied to derive transfer functions for real-world applications such as robotics, automotive cruise control, and aircraft flight systems.

Great modern book!
@robin7331 Depends on the coating type.
For acrylic or silicone based coating a solvent like acetone works fine.
For polyurethane, epoxy or UV cured coating I use Electrolube CCRG01L with good results.
Parylene based coating is the hardest and needs mechanical micro abrasion methods.
THIS GUY BUILT A MOBILE APP THAT LETS TWO PHONES COMMUNICATE VIA MORSE CODE USING THE FLASHLIGHT AND CAMERA
one phone flashes morse code through its flashlight. the other phone reads the flashes with its camera and decodes the message in real time
then it flashes back a reply the same way
two way communication between two phones using nothing but light
no wifi, bluetooth, or internet connection needed
he built it in react native. the camera processes each flash frame by frame, detects the timing pattern, and translates it back into text automatically
the concept is simple but the execution is insane. reading light flashes through a phone camera in real time and accurately decoding them into text is a serious computer vision problem
think about where this could actually be useful:
emergency situations where cell towers are down. communicating across buildings when you have line of sight but no signal.
endless possibilities with this

A kit available on the internet turns an ordinary paper airplane made from a sheet of A4 paper into a real mini-drone.
I can’t help looking at this whimsical little thing and picturing how it could be scaled up and weaponized for use in Ukraine.

The goal is to move a pawn from your starting baseline to the opposite side, while using fences to create a maze that blocks opponents, who must be left a path to their goal.
A simplified summary of my simulations of how drone detector antenna placement affects signal reception, expressed as a conditional drone detection range for different frequencies - obtained roughly by normalizing the square root of total gain to a typical drone detection range. Red line - detection distance for antenna on the roof, blue line - for antenna under the windshield.
Considering that the main sector from which drones can approach the vehicle is elevation from 0 to 30 degrees, and also that in reality the glass will attenuate the signal more strongly than in my simulations - mounting the drone detector antennas inside the vehicle significantly reduces its practical drone detection range, especially in the rear hemisphere.
