@PompeyCyclist If that then takes you below the threshold then yes. But you can earn so much that even paying 60k into your pension per year pre tax doesn’t take you outside of the higher rate of tax.

You can also put money into an isa and into things like premium bonds for tax efficiencies

Skipping out the 14:39, 14:44 and 14:54.

Something doesn't add up.

I assume that your ticket purchase via train line would have a timestamp on it, thus proving your innocence.

The train before the 14:59 was the 14:54 which doesn't arrive at EC until 15:17.
