With funding support from Otto per Mille of the Waldensian Church of Italy through @HUMANAITALIA , we are currently constructing double hole Blair Ventilated Improved Pit (BVIP) in four existing community gardens in Makoni District to improve access to Water, Sanitation & Hygiene
With support from Minicomf through HPP Italy, we are supporting 20 children from disadvantaged backgrounds at Mumhurwi Primary School in Shamva District by covering 83% of their school fees. We recently provided complete school uniforms to help improve school attendance.
As we celebrate World Environment Day 2026, We believe that people lead the change they want to see in their lives & communities. As climate change & food insecurity grow, local action matters. Solutions must be practical, community-led, & shaped by the people affected.

Our Youth Economic Empowerment, Advocacy and Entrepreneurship in Rural Zimbabwe (YEEARZ) Project in Bindura District today conducted an M&E workshop, bringing together project staff to reflect on progress, assess results and strengthen implementation strategies.
As we reflect on #InternationalChildrensDay, we are excited to share progress on the Boys’ Dormitory at Ponesai Vanhu Children’s Home in Shamva. The new facility is ready for flooring and painting with furniture installation coming soon.
