Quality Chemical Industries Limited (Qcil) breaks ground on a new 28,000-square-metre state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, marking a major step toward expanding into new therapeutic areas, including the production of Tuberculosis (TB) treatments and injectable medicines.

The new plant will also advance therapies for hypertension and diabetes while creating 1,000 new jobs and strengthening Uganda’s pharmaceutical manufacturing capacity.
