Today, at the opening of the construction exhibition at UMA, over 20 companies from India, Pakistan, and other countries attended.
The construction sector contributes over 12% to our GDP and employs more than 500,000 Ugandans. It has also created wealth for thousands.
Today, I met a team of investors interested in manufacturing. Industrialization for value addition and wealth creation is pivotal to the 10-fold growth journey. Uganda remains the best investment destination on the continent.
As we honour this Sabbath, we are reminded of Isaiah 55:8-9:
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than yours.”
