Last week, we had an extra special story time thanks to DC3 Professor of Animal Science/Ag Business David McCollum, who brought his sheep and dogs over to the LRC to meet the children right before "Piggy: Let's be Friends" presented by guest reader, Taylor Dye!
For our Father's Day story time session, we had returning guest reader Jenny Hutton and a fun card craft for the kids! The book was "I Want My Daddy!" and story time at the DC3 LRC is made possible by the DC3 Foundation- Starting Early-Communities Supporting Early Literacy Grant.

The LRC's Summer Storytime event is in full swing! Every Wednesday at 10AM and 2PM, we're inviting children ages 10 and under to come and enjoy a story and a craft! Last week's story was "Llama Llama Loves to Read", presented by Jenny Hutton.

The Women's History Month display is now ready for viewing at the LRC! Our piece, "Together We Roar", highlights the accomplishments of famous women you may know...as well as many, many others that may have been overlooked in history class.
