dc801 party statistics:
- 1,200+ RSVPs for the DC801 DEF CON party
- 73 different DEF CON Groups represented, from DC22 to DC5551 (Mexico!)
- we're especially in love with DC503 (Portland), DC303 (Denver), and that one group from louisiana 💕
- 46 people showed up with no local DCG, with some literally saying "looking for one" or "I know a guy"
- At least 2 people answered "I'm gay" to the DCG question (not a group, but we respect the honesty)
we might have a luma for our event but it's purely just to get the word out there that we're having a party this year.
big shout out to @defconparties tho, they're the best way to find out what's good to get up to during hacker summer camp week

Do you want to help sponsor the DC801 party at Defcon this year? we've got a lot of plans for this year's shenanigans... get on #dc801 on https://t.co/NBgySibB2H and hit up kimb3r if you're interested https://t.co/ghDw6CS3gG
If you're coming to the party tonight, you can help us out by bringing a bag of ice.
Reminder: This party is BYOB. Lots of us will have enough to share.
That being said, the cutoff date for getting your badge shipped is July 22nd. After that, we'll do a pick up at Defcon, or ship them to you post-Defcon.
We're selling fast on our tariff badges for this year - not required for party entry but we did have fun making them and your purchase supports the 801 Labs hackerspace + the DC801 Party.
