TRAFFIC ADVISORY
IN CONNECTION WITH GURUJI MAHASAMADHI DIVAS AT GURUJI KA ASHRAM, BHATTI MINES
A large religious congregation will be held on 31.05.2026 at Guruji Ka Ashram, B-13, Bhatti Mines, Mehrauli, New Delhi, on the occasion of Guruji Mahasamadhi Divas. A large number of devotees from across India, including VIPs and dignitaries, are expected to attend the event. To ensure smooth traffic movement and public convenience, special traffic arrangements have been made by Delhi Traffic Police.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS & DIVERSIONS
* Traffic restrictions will remain in force on Bhatti Mines Road between Chattarpur Road (SSN Marg)–Gurugram Road T-Point and Guruji Ka Ashram from 06:00 AM to 12:00 Midnight on 31.05.2026.
* Movement of Heavy Transport Vehicles (HTVs) will be restricted on the above-mentioned stretch during the restriction period.
* Heavy traffic will be diverted as under:
* From Mandi Road–Jonapur Cut towards Mehrauli-Gurugram Road.
* From Bhatti Mines Road near Mallu Farm (Bandh Road Cut) towards Jonapur–Mehrauli-Gurugram Road.
* Commuters are advised to avoid Chattarpur Road (SSN Marg) and adjoining roads during the restriction period and use alternate routes.
ENTRY TO ASHRAM COMPLEX
* Entry to Guruji Ka Ashram for all devotees and vehicles will be through Bhatti Mines Road.
* Devotees intending to visit the Ashram are advised to reach before 05:00 AM to avoid congestion on the route.
* Devotees coming from Faridabad and Gurugram are advised to approach the Ashram via Dera Border for smoother access.
PARKING RESTRICTIONS
* Adequate parking arrangements have been made inside Radha Swami Satsang Complex, Bhatti Mines.
* No vehicle shall be allowed to park on SSN Marg or any restricted road stretch.
* Vehicles found parked improperly on roads will be towed away and prosecuted as per law.
EMERGENCY VEHICLES
* Emergency vehicles, including Ambulances, Fire Brigade, Delhi Police and other emergency service vehicles, will be allowed free access on restricted and diverted routes while performing emergency duties.
* Emergency vehicles approaching from Faridabad via Dera More and Mandi Border are advised to use Mehrauli-Gurugram Road.
ADVISORY TO COMMUTERS
* Avoid the affected routes during the restriction period.
* Plan your journey in advance keeping in view the heavy rush around Guruji Ka Ashram, Bhatti Mines.
* Use public transport wherever possible.
* Follow the directions of traffic police personnel deployed on duty.
* Cooperate with traffic officials for smooth traffic management and public convenience.
The incident has been carefully enquired into.
The vehicle was found improperly parked near Neela Gumbad/Sabz Burz Roundabout on 13.05.2026, a heavily congested traffic junction in Delhi, causing obstruction to the smooth flow of traffic. Accordingly, the vehicle was towed by Traffic Police crane and prosecuted for improper parking.
As per prescribed procedure, a sum of ₹400/- was collected towards crane/removal charges. As of now, there is no provision for collection of such crane charges through online mode and the same is being worked upon.
The allegations of arbitrary action and corruption against Traffic Police staff are baseless and misleading. The action taken was strictly as per law and procedure.

A car had broken down at Moolchand Underpass and has now been removed. PWD drainage work is also underway at Moolchand Underpass, due to which traffic discharge is slow. Traffic is being regulated.

On 13.05.2026, Traffic may remain affected on Mathura Road in the carriageway from Badarpur towards Apollo Hospital, due to an online examination being conducted at A-27, TCS Mathura road in two shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Traffic at Noida severely affected due to on going agitation by the workers from private factories. They have completely blocked Noida Link Road coming from Chilla Border (Delhi). Traffic movement towards Noida from the Chilla Border is severely affected.
