Dialogue and diplomacy are essential to building lasting peace and stability.
In Doha today, I met with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, to discuss the challenges facing the Middle East and ongoing efforts to secure peace
Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade @HMcEntee will visit Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, with a focus on efforts towards regional peace and stability, advancing trade and investment opportunities for Ireland, and engaging with Irish communities across the Gulf.
Congratulations to the people of the United States on the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence 🇺🇸
Our two countries’ stories are inextricably linked through history, migration and shared values.
Millions of Americans proudly trace their roots to Ireland today.
Europe's future starts with working together. 🇮🇪🇪🇺
Honoured to welcome President Ursula von der Leyen and the College of Commissioners to Cork as Ireland's EU Presidency gets underway.
Irish leadership brings people together.
You help find common ground.
And get things done.
When Europe has faced moments of change, Ireland has so often helped chart the course.
Including through your successful EU Presidencies.

Deeply saddened by the devastating overnight attacks on Kyiv and the tragic loss of innocent lives. Russia's brutal and illegal war of aggression continues to inflict unimaginable suffering on the Ukrainian people.
I was proud to represent the Irish Government as President Zelensky, departed Dublin yesterday.
The Irish EU Presidency will support Ukraine, in its fight against Russia’s illegal war, and on its EU path. Russia again showed its utter brutality and inhumanity last night.
Ireland will stand with Ukraine, for however long it takes 🇮🇪🇪🇺🤝🇺🇦
Special thanks to @GardaTraffic and @defenceforces for all their work.
Ireland's EU Presidency begins today. The next six months are about more than meetings, they're about delivering real benefits for people: jobs, opportunities, innovation, security and stronger communities.
Here's to making a difference where it matters most! 🇮🇪🇪🇺
Let the work begin!
Ireland has officially assumed the Presidency of the Council of the European Union!
