Welcome @SecMullinDHS!
Under the leadership of @POTUS Trump and Secretary Mullin, DHS is committed to protecting our homeland. We are securing our borders, removing dangerous criminal illegal aliens, preventing cybersecurity and terror attacks, and helping Americans in the face of natural disasters.
MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN.
I am grateful for President Trump’s trust in me to lead the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. It’s an honor to serve.
As @DHSgov Secretary, I’m committed to safeguarding the American people and protecting the homeland. I’ll fight for your family just as I’ll fight for mine.
I look forward to standing shoulder to shoulder with the 260,000 outstanding DHS employees and their families to keep our nation safe.
My first priority is to end the partisan fighting and reopen the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as a matter of national security.
Let’s get to work. 🇺🇸
.@GovTimWalz claims that deporting Tou Lue Vang, who REPEATEDLY raped a 10-year-old, does not make his state “safer or better.”
The lengths that sanctuary politicians will go to defend sickos like this is truly disgusting.
.@GovTimWalz and Minnesota sanctuary politicians PARDONED an illegal alien who REPEATEDLY SEXUALLY ASSAULTED A 10-YEAR-OLD.
On June 10, the Minnesota Board of Pardons voted to grant Tou Lue Vang, from Laos, a pardon for his 2006 convictions for sexual assault—strongarm sodomy and procuring a child for prostitution. This pardon came just a week before Vang was set to be REMOVED from our nation.
During his interviews with police, Vang tried to justify his actions by saying “it is a cultural thing…to marry and have sex with girls as young as 12.”
Governor Walz’s pardon shielded this CHILD RAPIST from removal from our nation. This is the type of DISGUSTING criminal sanctuary politicians are shamelessly protecting.
Javier Moralez, one of our @ICEgov heroes, didn’t hesitate when he saw a 14-year-old lying unconscious on the side of the road — he immediately pulled over and rendered lifesaving medical care.
This heroic act is yet another example of how our law enforcement is truly the best of the best.

Breaks my heart to lose a good friend and patriot who dedicated his life to this great country. I’ll always remember our dinners together, because of Lindsey’s quick wit and humor.
Christie and I are praying for Lindsey’s family, staff, and all who loved him.
For those trying to understand how this happened, let me explain. Aliens legally in the country become deportable if they commit certain crimes. If they are pardoned, they are not deportable. But what Democrat governors are doing is egregious—they are pardoning aliens AFTER they serve a sentence SOLELY to keep criminals in the country. Sec. Rubio has specific statutory authority allowing us to undo this horrific decision.
FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA: Juan Alberto Guadique Sanchez, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, SEXUALLY ASSAULTED a 14-year-old girl.
Local law enforcement is now investigating whether he has preyed on MORE innocent victims.
@ICEgov has lodged a detainer against this sicko and is working with our Florida law enforcement partners to ensure he is NEVER released back into our communities.
We have one mission at homeland: to keep you safe.
While @POTUS leads on the world stage at NATO, @DHSgov is coordinating with federal, state, and local law enforcement to protect Americans at home, including during the ongoing World Cup. We are working 24/7 to protect both the American people and our visitors from the worst of the worst.
I am proud to work for a President who loves his country, and I am honored to lead the mission of protecting our homeland every single day.
FIREARMS SEIZED AT THE BORDER.
@CBP agents at the Presidio Port of Entry seized 8 firearms and 500 rounds of ammunition from a Nissan heading for Mexico. The driver has been taken into custody and charged with federal smuggling crimes.
Thanks to these CBP heroes, these weapons have been kept OUT of the hands of dangerous criminal organizations.
#EXCLUSIVE@CBP officers in Presidio, Texas seized multiple firearms—including machine gun barrels—before they could be smuggled into Mexico.
During a southbound inspection at the Presidio Port of Entry on July 8th, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers uncovered 6 rifles, 2 handguns, 180 magazines, 500 rounds of ammunition, and firearm components, including machine gun barrels for the M249 light machine gun, hidden inside a 2013 Nissan X-Trail headed for Mexico.
CBP says non-intrusive inspection technology detected anomalies in the vehicle, leading officers to hidden compartments containing the weapons and ammunition.
The driver, a Mexican citizen and lawful U.S. permanent resident, was arrested and charged with smuggling goods and firearms trafficking.
The seizure comes as CBP sources say the area across the border in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, remains the site of a violent turf war between La Línea and factions of the Sinaloa Cartel, as both organizations compete for control of the strategically important Ojinaga smuggling plaza. The rivalry has fueled years of violence in the region, making southbound weapons interdictions a key part of disrupting cartel operations.
Ray Provencio, Director of the El Paso Field Office saying, “This seizure demonstrates CBP’s commitment to preventing firearms and ammunition from illegally entering Mexico and arming dangerous criminal organizations… Our southbound inspection teams search for firearms, ammunition, and currency from illicit criminal activities to prevent this contraband from arming and financing the Mexican Drug cartels. And by doing so we assist our Government of Mexico law enforcement partners as we work to make our shared border region safer.”
BEST OF THE BEST.
Javier Moralez, a heroic @ICEgov officer, was driving down the road when he saw a 14-year-old lying unconscious in a ditch.
He immediately pulled over to assist, providing lifesaving care and ensuring emergency responders were called.
Officer Moralez’s quick thinking and commitment to ensuring the safety of this teenager demonstrates the true courage and heroism of our ICE law enforcement.
Jose Solorzano-Felix, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, convicted for attempted murder of a federal law enforcement officer, use of a firearm during and in the commission of a felony, and illegal alien in possession of a handgun in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Nearly 70% of ICE arrests are of illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the United States.
Yesterday, the brave men and women of ICE risked their lives to arrest illegal criminal aliens convicted for attempted murder of a federal law enforcement officer, lewd or lascivious acts with a child, rape, assault with a deadly weapon, and burglary:
You should be ashamed of yourself for protecting criminals, and prioritizing them over law-abiding American citizens and our brave men and women of law enforcement.
After @GovTimWalz pardoned a convicted illegal alien who sexually abused a 10-year-old girl, the Trump administration took action and DEPORTED this disgusting individual.
Sanctuary politicians put these horrific criminal illegals ahead of their own constituents every single day. It’s unforgivable.
Under @POTUS Trump, we are putting Americans FIRST, targeting the worst of the worst, and getting illegal aliens OFF our streets. If you are in the United States illegally, leave today, or we will find, arrest, and deport you.
