@atl_flaneur@USPSA_Shooting Even with the all the mistakes. I did better than I thought. Im not happy about my performance but ill take it knowing I havent shot a outdoor match in a while.
2 Reload 2 Drill : 2.3 par time. Blake Drill Par time 2.4. Working on tracking A-zones around and through vision barriers while moving. The key is staying target focused and looking for A-zones as vision barriers get in the way.

Back to work. Working on Shooting on the move. Eyes move first looking for a small spot on the target to hit. Switching to Reactive Shooting i got better results. While not trying to rush my shots. Then add in some designated target.
I know it's just a reload, but 2 years ago, I missed 90% standing & moving reloads. If I didn't miss it, it was SLOW & Smooth, BUT it was (DAMN SLOW). I couldn't reload like other people with it high. I had to find my own way.
With 2 light strikes on 2 stages that cost me time, i was still able to pull off 2nd in Carry Optics. i been going hard with my dry fire, trying to get back. Im just
my first match since January. My main goal for this match is to find my benchmark. Even though I started back training this week I'm nowhere close to the level I was shooting before the academy. The good thing about it, I know how to get back. I can now see my mistakes in a match
I worked on this doing dry fire. moving hard from one spot to the next. have the gun up and ready to go when I get to a new shooting position, and have the ability to stabilize the legs getting in a new shooting position while looking at a small spot on the target to hit.
Day 2. Everything still feels off & slow. It might look good, but it's just not as consistent. Putting the work in is the only thing that's going to fix it. Someone Dm me saying slow is smooth & smooth is fast. I don't care how smooth it was. It was still slow. SLOW IS SLOW
My first non Law enforcement practice session since January. I haven't shot my CZ since January. I haven't shot a match since January. I knew i was rusty, but damn 😂😂 A ton of mistakes were made running my drills. Give me a month or 2. I should be back where I left off.
