I can only pull from the places I’ve walked. I can only speak of the people I’ve loved and learned from. I can only write what I feel.
Sometimes those feelings are joyful and nostalgic. Sometimes they are painful and pushing. But always — they are human. Unapologetically human.
It is my honour to share my second album with you:
KANI: A Bantama Story
My only request is simple —
listen from top to bottom, with all your heart.
Stream now: https://t.co/E1Fw8NNRGf
PS: This story could have been told by Kwadwo Aji, Kofi Kyei or Azorlɛɛ but it was left to me. I owe it to them.

I’m humbled to have been honoured with a Diplomatic Passport by the Government of Ghana, alongside some truly inspiring Ghanaians WodeMaya, Rocky Dawuni, Anita Erskine, and Ibrahim Mahama. 🇬🇭
This recognition means so much to me. It reflects the work we’ve been doing for over 20 years to showcase Ghana, connect Africa and its diaspora with the world, and create opportunities for collaboration and growth. The diaspora plays a vital role in nation-building, and this milestone reminds me how powerful we can be when we come together to invest, innovate, and tell our own stories.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support this journey and the many partners and friends who believe in our mission. Let’s keep telling our story and building bridges that uplift Africa.
My heartfelt thank you to Hon. @S_OkudzetoAblak for this recognition.

My name is Natalia. I’m Stephanie’s Daughter. Firstly I want to thank you all for your messages and compliments. Joe and I are grateful.
Although my traditional ceremony was an amazing family event, it was also quite a stressful day for Joe, my in laws and I. Let me explain. I am sure you all have become very accustomed to mother by now. I have known her all my life and I can safely say, just when I think she couldn’t surprise me, she takes it to another level.
Until the ceremony, I didn’t know what I was going to be wearing. My mother or father’s attire. My sisters didn’t see their dresses either, until that day. She told my in-laws, it was going to be a simple garden party. I should have known better. Fortunately, she never disappoints.
My Joe on the other hand, has just decided to let the chips fall where they lay. We all know what Kotiboto means. My mother has a love language and it’s her nicknames for everyone she cares about, except for Alatani. 🤷🏽♀️
I love my husband-to-be however he comes, but I also know my mother is relentless and Joe will never be called Joe again until he ‘unkotibotos’, in mother’s words. For that reason, let’s pray Joe finds his way to the Doctors for all of our sakes.
Our wedding is coming up in November and I hope before that date, Joe would have done what he needs to do, so you can all know him by his real name. Maybe, by Gods’ Grace, Mother might give him a better nickname. Until then, for as long as Joe is in love with me and Kotibotoed, he will own his name, Kwame Kotiboto PAPABI.
Yours truly,
Natalia
