Woke up still thinking about this 🤯
@VICLATINO played my @HUGELTHUG “Movin’ To The Sun” remix on @HITS973 in Miami 📻🔥
Hearing something I made actually playing on the radio for the first time was unreal.
Thank you Vic for the support 🙏
Full remix is on my SoundCloud 🎧
Pretty surreal hearing “I Surrender” on @1035KTU in New York tonight. 📻🗽
More than 20 years after KTU supported “How Did You Know?” with MYNT, I’m hearing one of my own records on those airwaves again.
Definitely a full-circle moment.
Thank you @BodegaBrad for the support 🙏❤️
After all these years in music, I still get excited about stuff like this.
Just unboxed my limited-edition autographed vinyl of @TheWarningBand2 EVERYTHING’S FALLEN 🤘
Physical music still hits different.

In 1999, I left a secure job at Tommy Boy Records to start an internet company.
We believed the internet was about to change the music business.
Twenty-seven years later, the business is changing again—and I’m learning how to use AI, data, and new technology to adapt.
Maybe at 56, I’m not really starting over.
Maybe reinvention is just who I’ve always been.
At 56, I’m using AI to help market my music—not to replace the creative process, but to understand what happens after the song is released.
The tools have changed. I’m still reading the data the same way I’ve always read the dance floor.
In 2004, we built records through clubs → DJs → mixshows → radio.
In 2026, I can release a song to the entire world almost instantly.
But distribution was replaced by a different problem: attention.
Access got easier. Attention got harder.
I’ve watched my son go from learning to DJ at 7 years old to producing original music of his own.
This is the beginning of RENNER’s next chapter—and I couldn’t be prouder.

I started DJing when I was 7 years old.
Now I’m producing original music, developing my own sound, and beginning a new chapter.
I’m RENNER—and I’m just getting started. 🎧
On Wednesday I talked about starting over at 56.
What that really means is becoming a beginner again.
After 35 years in music, I’m now learning Spotify data, Meta ads, TikTok, new audiences, new rules.
The funny part?
I actually love it.
At 56, I’m a veteran and a student at the same time.
Maybe that’s what reinvention really is.
“When the sun comes up, will I still be enough?”
Probably my favorite line from I Surrender.
The official lyric video is out now. 🌅
RIDDLER feat. Madalina Cretu — I Surrender
At 56, I’m starting over.
Not from zero — from experience.
After 35 years in the music industry, I’m learning new platforms, new technology, new ways to release music and new ways to tell my story.
You’re never too old to become a student again.
Anyone else reinventing themselves later in life?
I am so proud of my girl making the GOLD squad as a second year at Notre Dame. Now she gets to cheer all home and away games, College Game day ☝️Now let’s get that Natty ☘️ Go Irish
