I am not sure that the UN cesspool can be saved. Consider: The UN has scheduled another hatefest for next week to mark the 25th anniversary of the infamous, rancid Durban conference.... Time to discard the UN and start over from scratch!
Durban’s enduring dangers
A massive new report on the UN’s anti-Israel ecosystem by my colleagues at the Jerusalem-based Misgav Institute for National Security & Zionist Strategy reveals the self-reinforcing echo chamber in which ostensibly independent bodies repeatedly validate and amplify one another’s “findings” and conclusions – which are invariably anti-Israel and antisemitic; and the Misgav experts recommend how to reform the UN. But I am not sure that the UN cesspool can be saved. Consider: The UN has scheduled another hatefest for next week to mark the 25th anniversary of the infamous, rancid Durban conference.... Time to discard the UN and start over from scratch! https://t.co/4OMVWfz0hp
[Anger Warning] Let's tell the story of two men...
On the left is Netanel Shakron, 36 years old.
On the right is Kadri Samara, 37 years old.
On Sunday, Shakron, an Israeli Jew, took some of his six children to ritually bathe in a fresh water spring near his home.
On that same day, Samara, a Palestinian Muslim, took a gun and went to kill Jews.
Both men went to do what they considered sacred. That should get you angry enough.
But, here's the more disturbing news. Samara murdered Shakron as an act of Palestinian terrorism.
His son was right next to his father Netanel when he was murdered. Samara pointed his gun at the child to murder him next, but thank God, an Israeli Jew nearby had a gun, and acting quickly shot Samara before he could murder the child.
Here's some more upsetting facts.
Shakron's widow, Dr. Merav Shakron, is left to raise her kids on her own. Without the generous salary of her husband, who worked in hi-tech.
Samara will enjoy a Palestinian Authority paid stiped SIX TIMES as high as a PA public school teacher. This comes from the Palestinian Authority's "welfare" pay-for-slay program, which pays Palestinian terrorists a monthly stipend based on how many Jews they kill.
Here's some even MORE upsetting facts.
Two weeks ago the British, French, and Canadian governments announced boycotts on Jewish produced goods from the "West Bank." [SIC]. Dr. Shakron, a professor at Ariel University, is subject to those sanctions.
The British, French, and Canadian governments give annual financial aid to the Palestinian Authority. They will be funding the pay-to-slay PA program that pays Kadri Samara for murdering Netanel Shakron.
The widow is sanctioned, the terrorist rewarded.
I'm so sick and tired of this.
Here's what else I'm sick and tired of. Forgive me for writing passionately from the heart, but I'm tired after Yom Kippur and out of patience.
I'm challenged directly multiple times a day by fellow Jews about the exaggerated, and many times, baseless accusations of "widespread" settler violence. [I'm not going to rehash the actual data that shows this is a tiny problem compared to real issues, but anyone honest and willing to do an hour of research will discover how blown out of proportion the settler violence label is.] I have no tolerance for people telling me to address settler violence when they don't even take the time to post, talk about, or even mention Netanel Shakron's murder and the countless other victims of Palestinian terrorism.
Three of my children have been victims of Palestinian terrorism, I lost neighbors on October 7th, my town needs security and armed guards patrolling 24/7 to protect from Palestinian terrorists. None of the Palestinian cities, towns, villages, or hamulas have guards because they don't need to protect themselves from non-existent settler violence.
If you post about settler violence but haven't posted about Netanel Shakron, I have lost respect for you. There are no excuses for only addressing one side.

Victor Davis Hanson is not Jewish. He is a renowned American classicist, military historian, author, and senior fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution - making his fact-based defense of Israel all the more significant.
In one of his recent interviews, Hanson gave a fascinating analysis of four accusations repeatedly made against Israel - apartheid, settler colonialism, ethnic cleansing, and genocide.
His conclusion was clear: These slogans collapse when confronted with historical facts.
Apartheid?
Approximately two million Arab citizens live in Israel with the right to vote, serve in parliament, study at universities, practice their religion, and participate throughout Israeli society.
Meanwhile, many of the countries accusing Israel of apartheid officially privilege Islam and severely restrict religious conversion, minority communities, and basic freedoms.
Settler colonialism?
The Jewish connection to the land of Israel is supported by nearly 4,000 years of historical, archaeological, linguistic, and biblical evidence.
The Jewish people did not arrive in their ancestral homeland as foreign colonizers. They returned to the land from which foreign empires had repeatedly expelled them.
Meanwhile, Arab armies conquered enormous portions of the Middle East and North Africa. The Ottoman conquest transformed Hagia Sophia - once the greatest church in Christendom - into a mosque. Yet those historical conquests are rarely described as settler colonialism.
Ethnic cleansing?
Where were the demonstrations when Turkey expelled Greeks from northern Cyprus and moved Turkish settlers into the occupied territory?
Where was the outrage when Azerbaijan drove more than 100,000 Armenians from their ancestral homes in Nagorno-Karabakh?
Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Zohran Mamdani were remarkably quiet.
Genocide?
When Israel was established, approximately 170,000 Arabs remained within the country. Today, around two million Arab citizens live in Israel, and the Arab share of its population has increased rather than disappeared.
Genocidal regimes do not cause the population they supposedly seek to eliminate to grow dramatically in both number and proportion.
As Hanson explained, many of those accusing Israel are projecting the sins of their own nations, movements, and histories onto one tiny, democratic Jewish state.
Why is Israel judged by a standard applied to no other nation?
The answer is becoming painfully clear - because Israel is predominantly Jewish.
Accusations may travel quickly, but historical facts still matter.
This is a pre Yom Kippur music concert with Hanan Ben Ari (a Jewish Religious Zionist). The words these mostly young people are singing are:
“Turn us back to You, O LORD, and we will be restored; renew our days as of old.”
They are not ‘Messianic Jews’. They are not believers in Jesus.
This is what Judaism looks like. This is what worshipping the God of Israel looks like. This is the fulfilment of the words of the prophets: “I will put my law within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” Jeremiah 31:31.
You can’t improve on this. We know who we are.
https://t.co/MrqQXrnhFA All hail the Haredi Public party! Finally, a voice of political responsibility from the Ultra-Orthodox public. The new party needs a boost from non-Haredi voters who understand the urgency and promise of HaTzibur HaCharedi and want it to succeed. This will be a worthwhile investment in the long-term health of Judaism and Israeli society! By David M. Weinberg

In fact, I am considering voting for the new “HaTzibur HaCharedi” party, even though I do not belong to the Ultra-Orthodox community and I dissent from part of the party platform.
