A kind soul sent me the American version of Luc Besson's 1988 film "The Big Blue," one of my biggest guilty pleasures. I've never seen this version before. It's 50 minutes shorter than the extended cut, has a tacked on happy ending, and is completely rescored by Bill Conti.

An interesting thing about Berlin 1948 is that instead of featuring any kind of digital sound it comes with a cassette tape that one is meant to play during the opening credits & the intro.
