New research from DOSS - The Loyalty Tax: How 2026 Inflation is Breaking American Brand Loyalty.
We surveyed 1,010 U.S. adults to understand how 2026 inflation is reshaping consumer behavior:
→ 60% have already dropped a previously loyal brand because of price increases
→ 70% say they're less brand loyal than a year ago
→ 53% who switched moved to a generic version
→ 69% now believe store brands match name brands on quality
And the categories getting hit hardest? Groceries (76% of switchers), personal care (41%), and household goods (39%).

Meet dossbot. This is the @doss_hq AI mascot, and it's my favorite thing I've designed in the last 6 months.
I also think it's the only thing I've ever designed where everyone I showed it to in our office immediately responded "Yep. This is 100% the thing™."
When we started working on all of the underlying AI infra in DOSS, I knew:
1. I didn't want to make another "AI butthole" logo
2. I really wanted a mascot
I thrashed on this for a while without coming up with anything I liked, and then one of the engineers I worked with showed me a doodle where he drew a smiley face inside the middle of the DOSS icon on one of our branded sticky notes.
That was the spark.
I immediately thought of the work that @mikesmith187 did with @SuperhumanHQ 's "Hero".
After fiddling a bit, I decided to use the outline edges of our logo, fill in the "punched out" corners, and then turn those into "eyes".
Dossbot was born.
