During IG Platte B. Moring's III visit to Camp Humphreys in Korea, he had the opportunity to see a section of the desk where the Korean Armistice Agreement was signed in 1953. The agreement, the longest negotiated armistice in history, formally ended the war in Korea.

During DoW IG Platte B. Moring's recent visit to the U.S. Pacific Command area of responsibility, he remembered & honored the nearly 2,500 Service members & civilians killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor. He placed a wreath at the USS Arizona Memorial on behalf of the DoW OIG.
