@andyserling@ScottMJeffreys A pick up mount in spirit, I guess, but Jaime rode this horse in the Sheepshead Bay - and gave her a perfect trip that day, too
@DailyRacingForm@DRFGrening .Sad day. I was just a kid but still remember going to the old Siro's seminars at Saratoga just to hear him talk racing. He was so far ahead of everyone else doing that kind of "public handicapping" at the time. Paul was the best. Meant a lot that I got to call him a friend later
@mesave31 The Gold Cup had a two-horse race feel to me. Either the in-form German shipper on the rail, or Limited Liability. I couldn't get to the others, though I am a big Grand Sonata fan
@mesave31 The Phipps was a pick one or pick too many race for me. I think Leslie's Rose is fine with the distance & will be a fair price. Good enough for me.
@joepadski@DailyRacingForm Sorry, Joe. Not around this week. At Little Brown Jug today. Haven't looked at that race...yet. I'll get back to you if I do...
@Horsesndealin Dennis doesn't ever have many horses but he gets the most out of them. He actually has a big positive lifetime ROI from all starters ($2.59).
