Due to heavy rainfall and river bank erosion impacting a bridge between Archipathar and Simen Chapari, train operations have been suspended as a precautionary safety measure. Trains will be short terminated/short originated at Silapathar. We regret the inconvenience caused.

DRM/Tinsukia conducted a detailed inspection of stations in the Dibrugarh-Sripani–North Lakhimpur section. Progress of Amrit Station works, safety installations and passenger amenities were reviewed to ensure enhanced safety, comfort and service quality for rail users.

Promoting safety through awareness!
DRM/Tinsukia flagged off a Safety Awareness Campaign from the DRM Office Complex in observance of International Level Crossing Awareness Day.The initiative aims to spread awareness on safe practices at level crossings and enhance public safety.

A detailed inspection was carried out by DRM/Tinsukia at the Chariali Warehouse and various stations of the New Tinsukia–Simaluguri section to review ongoing Amrit Station development works. Focus remains on enhancing passenger amenities, infrastructure and service quality.
