Heβs known by all the residents in the apartment complex for predatory towing practices.
Iβm more than happy to help your office in this matter in any way I can.
@JoshStein_
Your office has previously prosecuted organizations for predatory towing practices. Justt Towing & Recovery is practicing similarly - demanded $375 cash only for return of my truck.
Operating in subsidized housing neighborhood where I was caring for a patient.
@NicoleStoutPT@kenmpt So, to clarify, the @CDCgov is no longer an institution of actual science & facts but one of feelings and policy. Good to know.
@noveshen Tougher road to hoe for sure! I think we become stronger with more smaller businesses. Been trying to support local (even if it means going a little out of the way) for a while now. I believe it's good for us all :)
These are NOT ALL organizations & your letter is damaging our profession's good reputation to patients, families, & referring providers.
As a 15-year member, I'm disappointed in the perspective taken (or not) here.

Unpopular Opinion:
Is it possible that the same bad-actors currently laying off therapists may have been providing more services than necessary to meet the highest possible level in the volume-based system (RUGs)?
Yes. There are some organizations doing the things you're alleging. They were wrong before & remain so. These are also generally large organizations who employ a lot of clinical staff - PT factories.
@noveshen Reimbursement.
Every. Other. Profession. Is PAID or receives PAYMENT for the goods/services they sell/provide. I should not be reimbursed for the services I provide. I should be paid for the skill and expertise of my service.
@MikeMakher So. Much. Bureaucracy.
There are SO MANY pieces to be assembled before something like that can be rolled out. Not making excuses for CMS, but there needs to be policy + support (procedure). I believe weβll see permanent changes (rolling back would require similar massive change)
@SenatorBurr Profoundly disappointed. As a constituent who voted for you in the last cycle, I'm asking you to resign. I will not vote for you again. You chose to cover yourself while our 401(k)s got crushed. Not the leader we need in times like these.
