@Cricketracker If it was a one-off test then yes. But it is a 5-match series so NO. With a batting line-up like AUS you wouldn't declare unless you were well on top. In a series, a draw is still a result - it's not a loss and there are still 4 matches left to play.
@howie_hua I love this explanation . . . but I don't see it as an introductory explanation. I wonder whether students have already encountered the distributive law before a teacher first tells them what a neg x neg is.
