Heartbreaking footage shows Judy Malinowski testifying at her own murder trial after she was set on fire by her crazed ex-partner.

Judy suffered third-degree burns across 70 percent of her body, resulting in the loss of her ears, fingers, and even her eyesight.

She bravely fought for her life, enduring over 700 days before tragically passing away due to her injuries.

Fortunately, she managed to survive long enough to give a video statement that would help convict her killer, Michael Slager, and put him behind bars.

In order testify she had to be taken off her pain medication which left her in excruciating pain.

In July 2018, Michael Slager pleaded guilty to murder in a plea bargain, thereby avoiding the death penalty.

He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
