@DerrickEvans4WV Supply and demand. Demand is the same and supply if you trust the figures on Hormuz is ≈20% less globally. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that proximity doesn’t stop price change in one of if not the largest inelastic global markets.
@heath_coghlan@user54907@rushicrypto A war of attrition wouldn’t have been won by the axis powers they didn’t have the manpower or resources to compete with the war economies of North America.
@heath_coghlan@user54907@rushicrypto Even if Germany had defeated the British the uboats and naval deterrents were already active in the Atlantic and didn’t stop the US/canada. A landing still wouldve been made. Theres also the logistical advantage of the allies and land/people that hadn’t been ravaged by war.
@bitcoinkrishna@Gobbledego93211@JimFergusonUK Controlled distribution of resources. If you’re an asset you’re going to get treated like it. Works even better if the family of the asset is also involved. Regardless of the situation you’d have soldiers 🤷🏻♂️. Not necessarily the best but an army nonetheless.
@Jingjing_Li Unless the metrics of the Chinese economy are misreported. The Chinese economy owes a majority of its success to the “western/capitalistic” economic policies they’ve implemented.
@Jingjing_Li Well considering traditional communism uses command economics which has been proven over history to not be as effective. The economy of china is a hybrid socialist market economy. Which is largely driven by the private sector and not the government sector.
@KaraCorvus I’d say in general yes. I feel that the minority of society that actually would be considered “bad” just gets more vocalized. Bad things generate more attention which is why it’s more present throughout media and in general media shapes people’s perceptions.
@Seancore85@turk23ad@AJA_Cortes Yes; they were prisoners of war that were turned into slaves through trade. I’m unsure of why semantics matter to what happened just because they look alike. Didnt stop any group that committed the same crimes across history.
@turk23ad@AJA_Cortes Did those land owners own and perpetuate the north Atlantic slave trade? Did they go into Africa to barter for war slaves and capture others to be shipped to America, the West Indies, and South America? Ignoring the responsible parties for a minority due to your own bias. Classic
@_Zeets 90% of US media is owned by 6 companies. Tell me how a “governmental influence” is where you draw the line. The whole sector has been fubar for awhile.
@tamartin00@GuntherEagleman I mean I guarantee a police helicopter has a Flir cam. Even with “leaves on the trees” your body heat will show up unless the canopy is super dense. Probably looked like a light in the middle of dark picture. Not sure what they were looking for but it evidently wasn’t you.
@Kait0sXD @406MJ @MoiDawg Played conquest for 17 hrs. I didn’t see people playing like this. Sure on urban maps people played the elevation difference in the multi story buildings but jump shots and excessive sliding wasn’t really a thing.
@pnwguerrilla Patriot Act… this is just modernization. All up in arms about nothing new 😂. Any and everything you do that can be collected has been for a long time.
@twink_beth The allegations of SA irreparably damage someone’s reputation and life. If one knowingly tries to ruin someone’s life; one should be prepared for an equal to greater punishment in return. So jail and a fine should be a minimum and varied case by case to reflect damages.
